"My name is being used without permission" / Former pediatrician 'breaks the silence', Edi Tushe takes Eliona Pitarkë to court

It was pediatrician Edi Tushe, who, through an official response, stated that his name was being used without his authorization. He said that he had not authorized Pitarkë or any other person to use his name to promote diets for children, nutritional advice or personal benefits of any kind.

There was immediate reaction from Pitarka herself, who stated that her posts were only general information to help parents who cannot afford private clinics.

Tushe, invited to the podcast "Health with Alma" by Alma Demiraj, has broken his silence by providing details regarding this debate that has taken on large proportions. He stated that he has never compromised with his profession, while calling on parents not to refer to social networks.

" They are often misleading, because the information they provide is different. Each individual is different from the other. I think that rarely a mother harms her child. I don't think all parents refer to social networks; they always have a counselor and go to a doctor. Information obtained from social networks is often wrong and should not be used as an element of guidance for the child.

I, throughout my life, have not made any compromises with my profession, especially with those who are commercial. When I give information, I give it to everyone. Of course, the contact with the patient and the case are very individual and cannot be used or, even more so, deformed. You cannot give the same information to every person. I want to neglect this debate about something of this nature. Everyone speaks about their own conscience and this worries me. Using information and then placing certain advertisements is wrong in this case.

"Parents should not follow such things; the doctor is the one who determines what should be done. Australia has closed social networks because they cause damage to human life, while similar laws are being drafted in Europe ," Tushe said./TCH
