Accident on the Laç-Patok axis, 37-year-old man loses his life

An accident on the Laç-Patok road has claimed the life of a 37-year-old man from Fushë-Kuqja e Kurbinit.

According to the Police, Traffic Specialists arrested citizen Anila Sinaj , 33 years old, resident of the village of Grëz, Fushë-Kuqe, Kurbin, in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Violation of traffic rules", resulting in the death of a person.

The incident occurred at around 1:00 p.m. on June 2, 2026, when the vehicle driven by the 33-year-old collided with a moped driven by Lorenc Treshi , 37, a resident of Fushë-Kuqe, Kurbin.

As a result of the collision, the 37-year-old suffered serious injuries and was urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for medical assistance.

However, despite the doctors' efforts, he passed away.
