The Special Court sentences Florenc Çapjan and two others to prison

The Special Court sentences Florenc Çapjan, Alket Xhixha and Elvin Merlika to 6 years in prison, the sentence is reduced to 4 years due to the summary trial.

Çapja, Xhixha and Merlika were found guilty of the criminal offenses of "providing conditions and material means to commit murder", "committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group", "structured criminal group".

Xhixha and Merlika are accused of providing the conditions for the elimination of Indrit Dokles, while Çapja is accused of providing the conditions and means for the murder of Sokol Sanxhaktar.

The three convicts are close associates of Ervis Martinaj, missing since August 2022.

According to justice associate Nuredin Dumani, Ervis Martinaj offered 500 thousand euros to kill Indrit Dokla, as he had an opponent.
