Rama: We passed the law to open the files of communism, our party faced the evil

The country's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has declared that the Socialist Party made the law to open the files of communism and faced the evil in the opposition. In his speech to the socialists, Rama said that the Socialist Party is completely freed from the shadows of the past in this regard.

Rama further said that former Prime Minister and former SP leader Fatos Nano has made an extraordinary contribution to the SP. Prime Minister Rama emphasized that Nano came out of prison seeking a state, while describing him as a figure with an important contribution to the party and the state.

"We made the law and opened the file on communism. The paths with the spies were separated. Those who entered the path of the SP and those who went the path of the DP were separated. The spies took the servants that Gramozi had and made it the DP. The SP is completely freed from the shadows of the past in this respect.

"The SP was faced after its birth in a space of undemocratic freedom. It was freedom, everyone could do whatever they wanted, but it was not democracy. The SP was faced with the worst that an opposition can face. It had its leader in prison for several years, politically convicted. Fatos Nano has an extraordinary contribution, because he came out of prison seeking a state, with his sense of leadership and responsibility," said Rama.
