Gary O'Neill is officially the new Ipswich manager. Anis Mehmeti will work with the 43-year-old in the Premier League.
Gary O'Neil's experience with Strasbourg in France lasted only a few months, even though he had a contract until 2029. The contract with Ipswich, meanwhile, is valid for the next three years.
He previously managed Wolverhampton and Bournemouth in England. He is now ready for another new experience.
O'Neil was accused in April 2023 of threatening referees in the locker room. He was later acquitted of the assault charge, although it was confirmed that he had engaged in inappropriate behavior.
He has been sacked by Bournemouth and Wolverhampton. The belief is that he will do better this time with Ipswich.
