Spalletti confirms Zhegrova as starter against Pafos: He deserves this opportunity

Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti has announced that Edon Zhegrova will be the starter in the Champions League match against Pafos.

In a statement to "Sky", Spalletti stressed that the Kosovar striker has earned this trust with his daily dedication.

"Zhegrova will play from the start.

"The data doesn't show us he's in the best physical condition, but he's working hard and I want to give him this opportunity," said the black and white coach.

"He'll be on the field as long as he can handle it."

Spalletti's decision comes at a time when Juventus seeks to maintain its pace in Europe and strengthen its offensive identity, trusting players who, according to the coach, are giving their best in training and in matches.

Zhegrova, who has shown continued growth, is seen as an important alternative for the right wing of the attack.
