Cristiano Ronaldo has won his lawsuit against Juventus over his wages. The Turin court has ordered the old lady to pay the Portuguese 11 million euros, an amount that was not paid when Ronaldo was part of Juventus.
Cristiano Ronaldo has won his legal battle with Juventus. The Turin court has ruled in favor of the Portuguese forward for unpaid wages. It has ruled in favor of the striker and therefore Juventus must pay him 11 million euros.
The Turin court rejected the black and white club's appeal against a 2024 arbitration decision, which ordered them to pay 9.7 million euros, which together with interest, comes to a total of 11 million euros.
Ronaldo left the old lady in 2021. Juventus still owed the Portuguese 19.6 million euros from the COVID period, prompting Ronaldo to take legal action.
In April 2024, the arbitration panel ruled that Juventus should pay Ronaldo half of that amount, 9.8 million euros, as the private agreement between the club and their former player, which was also investigated by Italian authorities, did not include Ronaldo's signature.
Juventus will also have to cover legal costs, which amount to up to 80 thousand euros.
