SPAK demands Balluk's arrest/ The Constitutional Court rejected the request, Rama does not stop: We will intervene in the legislation. No urgency for immunity!
At the meeting of the SP parliamentary group, sources indicate that Prime Minister Rama has declared that they will continue the legal battle following the Constitutional Court's decision regarding Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
The Prime Minister has stated that he will be familiarized with international consultancy.
RAME'S REACTION
3 conclusions from the Parliamentary Group meeting after the Constitutional Court's indecision and the reinstatement of the minister's suspension by:
1. Non-delegable constitutional functions, from that of a member of the government to that of the President of the Republic and beyond, cannot be suspended by anyone based on a specific name, because suspension paralyzes the function, that is, the institution that he/she heads.
2. Based on the reading of the public statement of the Constitutional Court, where all members of the body appear unanimous regarding the problem, but are divided on the solution, the socialist parliamentary group will engage in a solution through intervention in legislation.
3. The only party satisfied by the reinstatement of the suspension is SPAK, which under the conditions of the suspension can continue the relevant investigation quite calmly, while until the legal resolution is addressed, there is no urgency to address the request that SPAK made after the suspension measure was lifted.
SPAK is not affected, only supported. The freedom and right of every prosecutor to investigate anything and anyone are not affected, only guaranteed. The constitutional independence of the legislative and executive branches of government are also not affected. Only guaranteed.
