Release of former Minister of Environment, the decision that released Lefter Koka from prison is revealed

The decision that led to the release of former Minister of the Environment, Lefter Koka, has been made public. The latter spent 4 years in prison.

The Special Court has lifted the "prison arrest" security measure for the Fier incinerator.

Regarding the sentence for the Elbasan incinerator, Koka has been granted conditional release by the Durrës Court, while for the sentence for the Tirana incinerator, he has served the sentence with time in detention.

For the Fier incinerator, the case has been returned for retrial to the Appeals Court by the High Court.
