70% of the Democratic Party parliamentary group have legally and officially supported Endri Shabani as a candidate for People's Advocate. Never before have the Democrats had such a great consensus of support for Endri Shabani.

35 years as an MP but still hasn't learned that 35 MPs are representatives of the sovereignty of the voters and their signature is individual.
The entire DP Presidency has signed for Endri Shabani: Agron Gjekmarkaj, Flamur Noka, Ina Zhupa, Tomor Alizoti, Jorida Tabaku, Klevis Balliu, Oerd Bylykbashi, etc.
Not even Sali Berisha had that many signatures in the previous legislature, because most of these signatories expelled him from the party.
The signatures of the deputies are the only ones valid for filing the candidacy and a minimum of 28 signatures are required. After the proposal, the candidate is elected by the Assembly with 3/5 of the votes.
Yes, in Albanian parliamentary practice, withdrawal is possible only BEFORE the closing of the filing procedure.
After the official filing of the candidacy:
• is accepted by the Assembly,
• is published as an official candidacy,
• is passed for consideration by the relevant committee, then the signatures are no longer removed, even if the deputies express a change of position. They may simply not vote for the candidate in the session.
Once the list is declared official, the signatures can no longer be withdrawn.
Sali Berisha has been declaring for a month that he will support Besim Ndregjoni, Adriana Kalana, Dardan Mustafaji, Jola Hysa, but he also gave his signatures to Endri Shabani.
In fact, on Thursday, Endri Shabani will be voted for, because the Socialist Party will rightly choose one of the candidates who has the most signatures from the opposition, but also has the legal experience within the constitutional criteria for Ombudsman.
Of course, Berisha must justify himself to the other candidates that Rama's "drug state" chose the "crime lawyer", but everyone will understand his acting and comedy.
Sali Berisha is either playing a game with Edi Rama to vote for Endri Shabani, or he has 70% of the parliamentary group out of control who entrusted the signatures to the one who has brought Berisha to his knees in the media, telling him:
"Get out of politics, because I have found you in power since the day I was born."
