Albanian flag rises in Orlando, 15-year-old wins International Mathematical Olympiad

Loris Qosja, a 9th grade student from Cerrik, won the International Mathematics Olympiad, held in Orlando, USA.
The 15-year-old from Cerrik raised the Albanian flag in the most important competition for his age. He also took third place in the Chemistry Olympiad.
Loris was singled out by his teacher Flutura Hoxholli, who works with the student even after hours and during breaks, achieving excellent results.
Loris studies math 6-8 hours every day and, like any teenager, he spends 2 hours on his phone. While the family could not guarantee the boy's trip to the US, he was helped by the Municipality of Cerrik, which, by decision of the Municipal Council, provided the trip for Loris and his teacher.
The 15-year-old made not only Cerrik proud, but all of Albania.
