From Kimete to Kos, but the PD sank

While EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos was in Tirana this Friday at the Growth Plan Summit with all the leaders of the Western Balkans, there was an orchestrated attack throughout the day by all the deputies of the Democratic Party, mocking and stigmatizing her surname. In Berisha's absence, the metaphor of 'boza' and 'kos' was made into mud by them today, as if they were some angry people watching the show from the outside and cursing those who were inside the event.
The Enlargement Commissioner's statement was certainly not her personal position, just as the statements of the US Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim, were not personal positions.
The first was stigmatized as 'yogurt', the second as 'cheese'.
They seem like comedians and as if they find epithets to suit the Doctor's taste, but they forget that neither one nor the other comes to Tirana to speak according to their own whims and desires. Time has shown this to be the case.
"Kimeten", they accused her of conspiracy theories, mocked her, attacked her with an energy that we have not seen even against Rama. They said that she had a personal agenda, that she was serving Soros, that she was "caught", "bought", "corrupted", that she wanted to destroy the DP. Meanwhile, her famous phrase that "with Berisha you will eat grass", if they had a little reflection and thought, would have been proven true today. Today there is no doubt. The DP has run out of grass and has entered a diet.
The same logic was repeated with EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos. She was accused of being “Rama’s spokeswoman”, “pro-government”, “politically oriented”, “with a personal agenda”.
In the absence of arguments, the DP attacked its own surname. A provincial behavior, reminiscent of street sarcasm, not the reactions of a serious party.
If the DP wants to do politics, it must finally understand that negotiations do not depend on the name of the commissioner, nor on her "love" for Edi Rama. Negotiations depend on reforms, on justice, on stability and on the performance of the Albanian state, which the opposition must help by being an alternative, not by becoming a problem and an obstacle.
The story of Yuri Kim, who was ridiculed and anathemaed, should serve as food for thought for the DP. Although she has retired, although the administration in the US has changed, nothing has changed for their leader, who has been marked non grata and totally boycotted by the international community.
The same story seems to be repeating itself with Marta Kos.
And when history repeats itself twice, it is no longer a tragedy, it is a comedy.
The DP is sinking because of itself, not because of Kos or Kim.
It is also sinking in that instead of protecting and encouraging justice, it starts with conspiracy theories and rumors worthy of provincial taverns.
If they don't remember and continue with this strategy, they will forever remain at the back of the line, cursing and anathematizing those inside, who celebrate their achievements and enjoy the show, while they themselves will be complacent with these typical provincial findings and insults.
