Tornadoes and snowstorms, severe weather hits several US states

Twelve states are under warnings for high winds and tornadoes, including Florida and Alabama, while Wisconsin and northern Michigan have been experiencing heavy snowfall since the weekend.
More than 11 million people are under severe weather warnings for hail and storms, and more than 2,000 flights have been canceled, mostly at Chicago's O'Hare and New York's LaGuardia airports. Many areas are without power, with Michigan, Ohio and Georgia among the hardest hit.
In Minnesota and other Eastern states, more snow and strong winds are forecast for this Monday.
Canada is also facing similar weather conditions, with up to 50 cm of snow and strong winds in Ontario and Quebec. Meanwhile, a heat wave is expected in the Western US, with temperatures reaching 42°C in Arizona, California and Nevada.
This massive phenomenon could affect over 200 million people in several countries.
