Greece is hit by another earthquake, panic among residents! What was the magnitude?

Greece was hit today (March 16) by another earthquake, causing panic among residents.

The tremors, described by experts as moderately strong, occurred in the Chania area.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale and was felt in the Crete area.

According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake was recorded 16 km south-southeast of Sougia, at a focal depth of 5 km.

Since March 8, Greece has been hit by a continuous wave of seismic tremors throughout its territory, the strongest of which was that of Ioannina (also March 8), 5.3 magnitude, which caused considerable damage and a state of emergency. The latest were recorded on Saturday, with a force of 4.8, also in the Crete area, but no damage or injuries were reported.
