For more than two years I have been articulating that Albania is in "Mani Pulite". No one else but me has articulated this! The more time passes, the more my articulation is confirmed! "Mani Pulite" in Italy did not recognize differences between Left and Right! It did not recognize Position or Opposition! Do you know why? Because, all parties were in the same boat, a rotten system had been created over the years and fell under the domino effect! This is how the political class is today, after 35 years of transition, they have consumed themselves in time and space! They will try to survive politically as they did in Italy, but their political end together with the system is only a matter of time! They will all fall together!
Does anyone hope that the Albanian political class will defeat the political class and enable the fall of the system? In fact, Justice should not have the final goal of defeating the political class and the latter should be defeated through the vote of the citizens! Justice, due to its investigations and its independence, is proving to us how corrupt the political class is. So, justice through its independence is proving to us that corruption in politics is so present that it can be considered a serious threat to democracy. The
Albanian political system cannot and should not be defeated by Justice. Also, the system does not fall as long as it has all the elements to protect it. In Italy, it was not justice that defeated the political class with "Mani Pulite". On the contrary, the investigations of the Milan team with Di Pietro shocked the system by proving that it had serious problems with corruption with a perfect system over the years that affected the party financing system and with the receipt of sums of money in exchange for privileges.
A significant part of the public opinion passed the agreement between the two major parties for the electoral commission without much noise and without much interest as if it were a routine that they have done continuously, but in fact it is not so!
This agreement proves nothing other than the fact that they are doing everything together to preserve the status quo with their exclusive right to make politics. So, they come together to combine their political interests to monopolize the right to dominate politics alone in decision-making.
This political class does not fall as long as they have the exclusivity to determine according to their interests to dictate the terms of the game. As it is, this political class is an arbiter, a scorer, a coach, an owner. So, they have it all to themselves and the people are only spectators.
The end of the First Italian Republic did not come from Justice that shook it morally in the eyes of public opinion, proving that it had completed its mission and had become a gangrene for the citizens.
The April 1993 referendum on several important topics such as party financing, the transition from proportional to majoritarian law, collapsed the political system by removing the monopoly of the vote and opened the way for the birth of new political entities and with it the emergence of new political leaders.
As long as the political class or the two major parties have the monopoly of the agreement on the electoral code, they are not shaken and do not fall.
The fact that they immediately agreed on the electoral commission means that they are together to preserve the establishment without having rivalry as to who is in the Position and who is in the Opposition. It is enough for them that they have both only them and no one else.
One of the main prosecutors of "Mani Pulite" had become the greatest inspiration of the time, the most popular man and with the greatest national and international media coverage.
While in Albania, Dumani is obliged due to institutional duty to give his report in front of deputies or ministers, a good part of whom are the subject of investigations by the Spak institution. He must answer questions from those who are in reality the subject of investigations or even have the status of the investigated, the defendant and the suspect. This is not the republic of prosecutors, but a political class that has completed its real mission!
