4 facts why the "new Constitution" guarantees Berisha and Rama 100%

Today, Sali Berisha confirmed at the doors of Parliament that DP representatives are meeting with the SP on constitutional amendments.
The idea of amending the Constitution was raised by Edi Rama on September 10, at the SP Assembly.

Sali Berisha acted openly and avoided the journalist's question about the meeting with Rama, but confirmed two political facts:
- He admitted that his representatives are negotiating with Rama to change the Constitution.
- He confirmed that he accepts the idea of the Senate and the reduction in the number of deputies.

But why are Berisha and Rama rushing to change the Constitution?
This is the most delicate moment for both of them in relation to justice and SPAK.
Berisha is being tried and needs his innocence at all costs. Rama, on the other hand, feels violated by every minister who is investigated or arrested.
This is the most favorable diplomatic moment, because there is no American ambassador to intervene and stop them from constitutional reforms, even when they violate public interests or democracy itself.

But what will Berisha and Rama change in the Constitution?
1- The Assembly will have two chambers: the Parliament and the Senate.
Berisha and Rama are guaranteed as lifetime senators.
Berisha, as the oldest, becomes the Senate President.

2- The Parliament will have 100 deputies and the threshold for entry into the Assembly will be 7%.
A deputy must secure 20,000 votes in Tirana.
With this formula, any new party does not pass the threshold and remains outside.
This guarantees the two-party system SP–PD.

3- The Republic becomes semi-presidential and Rama becomes like Donald Trump – prime minister and president at the same time.
President Edi Rama's mandate becomes like that of Tayyip Erdogan: 7 years, with the possibility of re-election twice.
So, Rama president-prime minister until 2040.

4- The Attorney General is appointed by the President, as in the US.
SPAK's mandate ends in 2028 and is no longer continued, but is reorganized within the Attorney General's Office.

There are not many changes – just four chapters – but they cement the establishment for another 40 years.
The new constitution does not guarantee Rama and Berisha biological life, but political eternity.

Do not be surprised by my political "prophecy", but by my legal analysis.
This project is 100% the end of every new party in Albania and the creation of a modern monarchy, camouflaged as pluralism.
Simply, for two decades we will have a king and a (majordom) main servant who will keep them cool at night, but during the day will pretend to be his critic.
This is the most tragic end of parliamentary democracy in Albania.

This story reminds me of Gabriel García Márquez, who described:
“The king surrounded by his opponents in mirrors, rebelling only to reflect his face more brightly.”
