"He underestimated us", the Secret Service reacts after the incident at the Trump event: A coward tried to create a national tragedy!

The US Secret Service has reacted after the gun incident during an event attended by US President Donald Trump, emphasizing that the quick intervention of security forces prevented a much more serious situation.

In a statement, Deputy Director Matthew Quinn announced that the suspect was neutralized immediately after coming into contact with agents.

"Tonight, a coward attempted to create a national tragedy. He underestimated the protective capabilities of the Secret Service and was stopped at first contact," the statement said.

According to Quinn, the security system functioned as expected, preventing the situation from escalating, while additional control measures were also in place.

He emphasized that the intervention was the result of close cooperation between Secret Service agents and other law enforcement structures, praising the professionalism shown during the management of the incident.
