"Hezbollah has violated the ceasefire," Israel issues evacuation warnings in southern Lebanon

Israel has issued an evacuation warning for residents in southern Lebanon this afternoon.

Those in the city of Tire are being told to leave as the Israeli army warns of attacks.

"In light of the terrorist party Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire agreement and its targeting of Israeli territory, the Israel Defense Forces are compelled to act forcefully against it," spokesman Avichay Adraee said.

"Out of concern for your safety, you should immediately evacuate your homes according to the area shown on the map and relocate north of the Zahrani River."

This follows an earlier warning for those in Nabatieh to evacuate.
