Robbery in Rinas/ The Çala brothers address the Constitutional Court, requesting the overturning of the decision given by the Supreme Court

Brothers Klement and Eldi Çala have taken the case related to the sensational robbery at Rinas airport to the Constitutional Court, challenging the latest decision given by the Supreme Court. The request was officially submitted on Monday by their legal defense.

Through lawyers Evjola Shehu and Neshat Fana, they are requesting the annulment of the current decision and the return of the file for a new review. The arguments presented allege that the standards of due process, as well as the rights guaranteed by the Constitution, were violated during the judicial process.

The file is related to the spectacular robbery that occurred in Rinas, one of the most talked about criminal episodes in Albania in recent years.
