Name/ Tragedy in Montenegro! Albanian man kills his partner then sets fire to the apartment

A serious incident is reported to have occurred in Uiqin, Montenegro, where an Albanian citizen killed his partner and then set fire to their house.

The news has been confirmed by local media , which report that the person in question is a citizen from Kosovo identified as Bashkim Gashi, 46 years old. 

Referring to the investigations conducted so far, it is learned that the incident occurred around 3 am today, where Gashi, after taking the life of his partner with the initials DN, 36 years old and originally from Albania, set fire to their house.

"Around 00:30, the Security Department in Ulcinj reported that a fire had broken out in a residential building in the Kodre neighborhood. Police immediately went to the scene, where the body of an unknown person was found, who was later identified as DN (36), a citizen of Albania," the local police said in a statement.

It is reported that during the physical checks carried out in the apartment, which was found to be almost burnt, the main suspect in the incident, Albanian Bashkim Gashi, was found with wounds and burns on his body.

Meanwhile, it is reported that local authorities are continuing their work to fully clarify the incident.

Prosecutors in the case state that based on the investigations so far, Gashi is accused of the criminal offense of "aggravated murder."
