Durrës Police have provided details on the incident that occurred the day before, where as a result of a fire in the bus park, 8 buses that were out of order were burned.
According to the official announcement, the Criminal Investigation specialists at the Durrës Police Station have referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, classifying the incident as accidental.
From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that the fire was caused by an electric spark in the battery of one of the buses.
"Following the information provided yesterday regarding the fire in the bus park, where 8 out-of-function buses were burned, we inform that the Crime Investigation specialists of the Durrës Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office as an accidental event, as from the first investigative actions it is suspected that the fire was caused by an electric spark in the battery of one of the buses," the Blues announce.
