Fatal accident in Elbasan, 64-year-old woman is hit by a vehicle and loses her life

A 31-year-old man has been arrested by police after hitting a 64-year-old woman. As a result, the 64-year-old woman lost her life.

The 31-year-old is charged with the criminal offense of "Violation of traffic rules", resulting in death.

DVP Elbasan/ Traffic Specialists arrested citizen OB, 31 years old, in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Violation of traffic rules", resulting in death. Today, at around 13:30, on the road axis "Qafë Thanë–Librazhd", the vehicle he was driving hit citizen FH, 64 years old, a pedestrian, who as a result lost her life.
The procedural materials will be referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
