Efforts to end political crisis, elections in Kosovo in focus of international media

The elections in Kosovo have received international media attention.
The December 28 parliamentary elections in Kosovo have also made the front pages of the most prestigious international media.
Prestigious outlets such as "Associated Press", "Reuters", "The Guardian" and "Washington Post" have dedicated an article to the December 28 elections, describing these elections as an attempt to end the political crisis.
" Kosovo voters vote in second attempt this year to elect a government and avoid more crisis ," is the headline of the Associated Press agency.
In an earlier article, the "associated press" also wrote about the February 9 elections, adding that although Kosovo held regular elections, the parties have not managed to form a government.
The Guardian also writes that the snap elections were called after Prime Minister Albin Kurti's ruling Vetëvendosje party failed to form a government despite winning the majority of votes in the February 9 elections.
This was the first time Kosovo had failed to form a government since it declared independence from Serbia in 2008, following the 1998-99 war that ended with a NATO bombing campaign.
Kurti's party won about 42% of the vote in the previous election, while the two main rival parties together had about 40%. Analysts say even the smallest changes in the numbers on Sunday could be decisive for the future distribution of power, but nothing is certain.
