Prosecutor Klodian Braho was elected the new head of SPAK, receiving 7 votes in favor out of 11 members in total.

Braho has been part of the justice system since 2007, and has been one of the main figures of SPAK.

He currently heads the Corruption Section and is the author of investigations into some of the most important files of recent years.

Braho investigated the Elbasan incinerator case, for which he issued arrest warrants for persons involved in the corruption scheme, and also divided the investigation into former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.

Other important cases include the “5D” file, where former Tirana Municipality officials were brought to trial, as well as the “Toyota Auris” file, a file that continues to be investigated on several leads. He is also part of the group of prosecutors who indicted former minister Fatmir Mediu in connection with the Gërdec tragedy.
