Accident in Kosovo, two Albanian citizens lose their lives, one of them a renowned economic expert

A serious accident occurred this morning on the "Ibrahim Rugova" highway, where two Albanian citizens lost their lives. It is learned that they are Elisabeta Katiaj, vice president of the Albanian Diaspora Business Chamber, and Eorda Sinollari, a business consultant with the Chamber, as a result of a road accident in Kosovo.

The accident occurred at around 07:40, where a truck with Kosovo license plates collided with a car with foreign license plates.

As a result of the violent collision, the driver of the car and the passenger lost their lives, while the driver of the truck suffered injuries. The driver of the vehicle died at the scene, while the other was taken to the hospital, but could not survive.

Elisabeta Katiaj was a well-known figure in the Albanian business community and diaspora, committed to the internationalization of entrepreneurship and supporting women entrepreneurs.

She played a key role in bringing together foreign investors and in the initiatives of the Diaspora Business Chamber, promoting impactful projects for Albania and the diaspora.

As co-founder of the Albanian Diaspora Women's Network, Katiaj left an important legacy in support of gender equality and entrepreneurship development.
