Journalist Poli Hoxha raises the alarm, reveals the "front" of

Journalist Poli Hoxha has stated that a “broad political and organized crime front” has long been established in Albania, which according to him is attempting to openly challenge justice and special institutions. In Every Corner with Merita Haklajn on A2 CNN, he emphasized that internationals have expressed strong support for the new justice institutions.

"Yesterday it was physically apparent that there has been a large front created in Albania, political, organized crime that is behind it all, media and others and another front against SPAK and GKK, an open front in the analysis of this front, this front that is in the sense that it protects its own interests, is in conflict of interest with SPAK and GJKKO. Recent statements have seen this alarm of this battle aligned with diplomatic representation in the High Prosecutorial Council."

According to Hoxha, recent statements by SPAK head Altin Dumani, as well as the positions of foreign partners, especially the US, Germany, the EU and the UK, show that the fight against corruption and organized crime has become a geostrategic priority. He noted that senior Western officials have chosen to meet with SPAK leaders, avoiding direct meetings with Albanian politics.

Against this backdrop, Hoxha said that the election of Klodian Braho as head of SPAK is a signal that the international focus remains on high-level corruption. He warned that the battle will intensify, especially if criminal cases affecting politics end up in parliament for the lifting of immunity, which could create a “final” institutional clash between justice and politics.

Likewise, journalist Ervin Koçi emphasized that "in the last three or four months, every meeting that took place with officials, senior American officials with representatives of SPAK was always office 309, the office of Mr. Klodian Brau, who also appeared in public photographs during the meeting."

According to him, the main message from internationals is support for the leadership of the anti-corruption section in SPAK, signaling that the focus should be on corruption at the highest levels.

"The strongest message is that we are supporting the heads of the anti-corruption section in the special prosecution, not the heads of the organized crime section. So the internationals themselves want SPAK's activity to focus mainly on high-level corruption. Mr. Braho also has very important cases that he is investigating, which also involve former high-ranking political officials of the country, and as such, it seems that the international message is that we want SPAK's activity to focus on high-level corruption. We will see after the 19th where Mr. Braho's cooperation will certainly continue with other prosecutors, and it is worth noting that Mr. Braho has been Mr. Dumani's right-hand man and it seems that the pair will continue again, simply the positions will be changed, one leader, the other will be his right-hand man. Dumani seems to be going to his natural habitat, which is the fight against organized crime."
