Problems again on the Qukës-Qafë Plloçë axis, the road is blocked again after a landslide and rockslide

The Qukës-Qafë Plloçë road axis was blocked again at around 02:00 today, as a result of landslides and the fall of rock masses on the road.

According to preliminary information, substandard works and recent rainfall have caused destabilization of the terrain, bringing problems again this Sunday on this road segment, which has long remained a problematic area for traffic. As a result, vehicle traffic has been interrupted, while drivers are advised to avoid this axis and use alternative routes until further notice.

The intervention of relevant structures is expected to clear the road and normalize traffic, while the situation is being monitored due to the risk of further landslides.

The traffic police appeal to drivers to show increased caution, especially during night hours and in adverse weather conditions.
