Albanian activist arrested by Israelis while sending aid to Gaza

Albanian activist Baki Goxhaj, part of the "Sumud" humanitarian flotilla, has been detained by Israeli authorities during a mission to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.

According to reports, Goxhaj was arrested in international waters while on board a flotilla ship that was intended to transport aid to the Palestinian population.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has also reacted to the event, informing the media that full information is being sought on the circumstances of the detention and respect for the rights of the Albanian citizen.
