Journalist Ervin Dushi has reported that he was raped this evening around 8:00 PM by several people in Shkodra.

According to his statements, the perpetrator of the violence was citizen Prek Gjoni, along with several other people who were with him. Gjoni is known as the owner of the Xhedis supermarket chain.

Dushi claims that the incident is related to a complaint he made some time ago in support of a market employee, who had a dispute with the company owner.

After the incident, the journalist filed a report with the Shkodra Police and stated that he will pursue the matter through institutional channels.

"I will continue to pursue the matter through the institutions," he is reported to have stated after reporting it to the police.
