Fires break out in Bulqiza, flames engulf the Krajka area

The arrival of spring has also brought back the major problem with our country's forests, which are fires.
Burning weeds on agricultural lands or in meadows has consistently caused large fires to start, which then get out of control of residents.
A fire broke out this afternoon in the village of Krajkë in Bulqiza. As can be seen from the images, the flames have engulfed a significant area of bushes and are approaching homes.
Due to the strong wind, the fire is spreading rapidly, while the intervention of local authorities is expected to make it possible to neutralize the fire so that it does not have serious consequences.
A similar situation is repeated every year not only in the Bulqiza area but throughout the entire territory of the Dibër District. The clearing of lands by residents through fire causes the situation to get out of control and causes great economic damage, mainly in oak forests.
Authorities advise residents to be careful during this period, as if they cause forest fires, they will face penalties as provided by law.
