Escalating conflict/ UNICEF: Over 1 million people displaced in Lebanon due to war, children must be protected!

More than a million people, including nearly 350,000 children, have been displaced in Lebanon due to ongoing attacks. Thousands of families have been forced to abandon their homes and find shelter in centers, UNICEF Lebanon reports in a message published on its X profile.
"Thousands of families and children are fleeing their homes in fear and seeking shelter in overcrowded centers," the message says.
The organization is working on the ground to provide healthcare, psychosocial support, drinking water, and emergency relief.
As a result of the difficult situation, UNICEF appeals for immediate action.
"Children in Lebanon cannot afford further delays. Immediate action is needed to reduce tensions and prevent harm. Children must be protected. And it must be done now," the message concludes.
