Durrës, large pieces of plaster break off from 22-story building, parked vehicles are damaged, residents in panic

A disturbing event was recorded on Thursday evening in the city of Durrës, where large pieces of plaster were torn off from a 22-story residential building, facing the port, where the upper 10 floors are uninhabitable as they are not sealed by the construction firm.

As a result of the falling plaster, a vehicle parked under the entrance of the building was damaged, causing significant damage. The residents of the building are in panic as the risk to life is present every day, given that the floors that are still unfinished are in a dilapidated state.

If a person had been passing by at the time the plaster fell from under the building, the consequences could have been tragic. Judging by the damage caused to the vehicle, such a blow to a person would have been potentially fatal.

Residents of the area are demanding immediate intervention from the relevant authorities, emphasizing the need for regular inspections and necessary restorations, in order to avoid such events that could endanger people's lives.
