Accused at the meeting of having requested the signatures of MPs for Endri

After the end of the Democratic Party Presidency meeting, accompanied by debates and high-pitched voices, former MP Ervin Salianji spoke to the media, clarifying his positions and responding to the accusations raised against him during the discussions.

Salianji expressed regret that, according to him, the Presidency meeting completely shifted attention from organizing the protest and confronting the government, towards internal clashes.

"I regret that the Presidency meeting completely shifted the focus from protests to internal discussions. There were different opinions, but what I can tell you is that we will move forward. There will be no change without sacrifices, without reactions and without clashes," declared Salianji.

He stressed that he will respond to all accusations with concrete facts and names. "We will continue to move forward with every accusation and every idiocy, we will respond with concrete facts and concrete names," added the former Democratic MP.

During his statement to the media, Salianji leveled accusations against the leaders of the Democratic Party, holding them responsible for the uncertainties in decision-making. "The decision-making of the DP, which has been unclear in many situations, makes the leaders responsible. I am holding the leaders of the DP responsible for these uncertainties," he said.

Asked about the accusations that he had collected signatures from MPs for Endri Shabani's candidacy for the position of Ombudsman, Salianji reacted with irony, denying these allegations.

"I have also waged the labor wars. I have also collected signatures for Endri Shabani, even though I am not an MP," said Salianji in an ironic tone, implying that the accusations against him are untrue.

Salijanj's statements come at a moment of tension within the Democratic Party, as internal clashes have accompanied recent discussions within the party's leadership structures.
