Abandoning children and fleeing, 40-year-old mother declared wanted

A 40-year-old woman was declared wanted and is being investigated on charges of abandoning her minor children.

Official sources from the Korça Police announced that they "referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and declared citizen MD, 40 years old, resident of Korça, wanted."

"It is suspected that he has committed elements of the criminal offense of "abandonment of minor children" - the police announced.

After the family members reported the incident, 'work is underway to locate and capture her'.

The procedural materials were referred to the Korça Prosecutor's Office for further action.
