Tensions have engulfed Cuba, where violent protests have erupted in several cities, including Moron.

Citizens have taken to the streets to express their dissatisfaction with the political and economic crisis, and in Moron, demonstrators set fire to the offices of the Communist Party, in a sign of anger at the country's leadership.

One of the main reasons for the wave of indignation is the frequent power outages, which often last more than 20 hours, making the daily life and economic activities of citizens difficult.

Cuba, on the other hand, is also facing major food and fuel supply problems, which have exacerbated social tensions and prompted citizens to demand change. Videos released show protesters in Moron setting fires in the streets, using furniture and materials taken from the Communist Party headquarters.

"A week after incessant nighttime power outages, Cubans in Morón, a city in the center of the country, took to the streets Friday evening chanting "Down with communism," as a group of demonstrators broke down the door of the local branch of the Communist Party and set it on fire.

"Videos posted on social media show that at least one person appears to have been shot, possibly by Cuban police," writes the Miami Herald. The situation remains unpredictable, the newspaper adds, and many people express concern about the social and political consequences that could follow in the coming days.
