Samsung Galaxy Watch6 and Watch6 Classic are getting the One UI 8 Watch update

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic, both launching in 2023.

The update is based on Google's Wear OS 6, which was announced in May.

The update is currently rolling out to Watch6 and Watch6 Classic units purchased in Korea.

The new version ends in CYK2. More regions will receive it within the next few days, unless major issues are discovered in the meantime.

If you want to check for the update, go to the Wearable app, then Watch Settings > Watch Software Update > Download and Install.

The update is quite important as it brings with it a new user interface and many new features.

It was launched for the Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra in July, which is also when the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic arrived with One UI 8 Watch right out of the box.
