"PD train with 2 locomotives?"/ Keltis Kruja: We are at a crossroads,

The metaphor of a “train with two locomotives” was used on Andrea Danglli’s Off the Record show, where DP Presidency member Keltis Kruja commented on the internal crisis of the Democrats and the recent dilemmas that have accompanied the party’s decision-making. Asked whether the DP is being pulled in different directions by internal groupings, Kruja denied the idea of two locomotives, but admitted that the party is at a “constant crossroads,” where it often initiates processes that it then abandons.

He stressed that the case of the selection of candidates for the People's Advocate clearly highlighted the lack of coherence and seriousness of the DP, adding that the withdrawal of MPs' signatures created confusion and misunderstandings among the public. According to him, one of the fundamental problems is that "the presidency has become inflated", which has weakened its role as a decision-making body and has extinguished the idea of confidential meetings.

Kruja also stopped at the latest speeches within the party, stating that he does not see political theses in these movements, but only activities without strategic clarity. He said that the DP should speak with a unified language and not create the impression of a party that wanders between uncertainties and contradictory messages.

According to Kruja, the main challenge for the DP remains returning to serious organization, formulating clear political goals, and getting out of the "crossroads" situation that is keeping the party stuck in a deadlock.
