While DP leader Sali Berisha has described Ervin Salianj's movement as a movement for personal interests, for Shemsi Prençi, Ervin Salianj's movement was supported by dignified figures in the Democratic Party.
Invited to the show 'Frontline' on Report TV, he said that Salijanj's movement has brought hope to the Democrats.
'It bothers me that the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was expelled from the Democratic Party 4 years ago, as a member, because he was declared non grata by the USA, and he started his rebellion by inventing the rostrum, while today he bans and deprives the rights of people who think differently from him. I call on the Democrats to remove Sali once and for all, because they and Berisha cannot overthrow Rama even though there are the biggest scandals in the government. I see Salijanj's movement as a movement that brings hope to the Democrats. Yes, he was supported by dignified figures in the DP. Berisha allows different opinions within the DP because by allowing this, everyone gets their own people there,' he said.
