Vllaznia confirms Edi Martini as the team's new coach

Vllaznia Football Club has officially appointed Edi Martini as the team's new coach for the 2025-26 season. After 15 years, the Shkodran boy returns to the Vllaznia bench, a team he had managed in 2010 when he was only 35 years old and had not yet gained coaching experience.
The red and blue club has not wasted any time and after firing coach Thomas Brdaric and director Tefik Osmani, has made the first move official. Edi Martini is expected to start working with the group as Vllaznia prepares for the hot summer in Europe, wanting to advance to the Conference League rounds.
The 50-year-old Martini is known for his five adventures on the Teuta bench, where under his leadership the Durrës team won the Super League (2020-21), the Albanian Cup (2019-20) and the Super Cup (2020-21). In addition to Teuta, Martini was also the coach of Luftëtari in the 2012-13 season, while since February of this year he has been managing Trepça in Kosovo.
"KF Vllaznia announces that it has reached an agreement with one of the well-known names in Shkodër football, namely Mr. Edi Martini, to be the team's new coach for the 2025-2026 season. Welcome back home," Vllaznia announced.
