"Rama's approach to protests, the same as Vučić in Serbia", analyst from Kosovo: Albanian Prime Minister, bully! Scandalous and unimaginable

Kosovo analyst Shkëlzen Gashi, invited to News24 , commented on the wave of mass protests taking place in Tirana, in other cities in the country and in the diaspora against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Gashi said that this civic reaction is an important turning point, also making a comparison with the protest culture in Kosovo.
The analyst emphasized that finally in Tirana there are massive protests, and not only there, but also in other cities of Albania and in the diaspora regarding the situation in Albania. He admitted that what has always worried him has been precisely the question of why there are so many more protests in Kosovo and why there have been so few in Albania.
During his analysis, Gashi drew a strong parallel between the political situation in Albania and that in Serbia, pointing out the similarities between the two countries' leaders.
"The protest in Tirana is similar to the one in Belgrade against Vučić. Rama and Vučić are two politicians who have almost absolute power in their countries. Also, in Tirana, just like in Belgrade, no one knows the main organizers of the protests," said Gashi.
He added that both are trying at all costs to find out who is behind the organization in order to invite them to talks, but the strategy of the citizens in the square is clear: "Vučić and Rama also want to know the organizers and meet them, but the protesters categorically refuse the meetings."
Another point where the analyst stopped with harsh criticism was the public rhetoric used by the head of the Albanian government in the face of revolt and criticism, considering it unacceptable.
"I am concerned about Rama's language, the bullying he uses in his vocabulary. This is scandalous and unimaginable to happen in Kosovo," said Gashi.
