Protest is not just about "protesting"

A debate has opened, both logical and engineered, about the popular protest, which has now become national and international. Who is leading it, what is its goal, and above all, what will it produce?

First, it is now clear. The protest is driven by the disappointment and anger of Albanians against the 35-year-old corrupt political elite. Every injustice that occurs in this country is a consequence of the capture of the system, political-party-economic-electoral-legislative, by this caste. The circle is closed.

Who instigated the protest, what exploded the pot left without any exhaust valve?! Albanians have given their trust and votes to this caste for 35 consecutive years, but now they have finally realized that their representation in parliament, government, opposition, party, has not only been wasted, but has turned against them. This group with its media-economic tools, after having enriched itself, by exploiting the trust of Albanians, had passed into the phase of aiming to normalize their status quo.

They get rich, Albanians elect and re-elect them endlessly at the head of the country. They even have idols! So, for better or worse, the parties, the vote, the parliament, the government, the opposition, the economy, the assets of Albania, media control, etc., are for them alone. Albanians, (Party members, professionals, intellectuals, artists, businessmen, journalists, etc.), who are not part of this closed circle, either have to adapt to their "fate", or have to provide evidence that they can be included in their caste.

The bill is the loss of dignity, freedom and personal and professional integrity. For those who do not accept, "we have removed your visas", good luck and good luck! Those who are forced to live in their Albania, must be the "worker, citizen, peasant, new farmer", "new employee", "new businessman", "new journalist", "new intellectual and artist", "new student", "new democrat", "new socialist". Only the mayors cannot be new. Nor can the Justice that can endanger them, be new!

So don't be surprised and don't get tired of protesting in the squares. Those tens of thousands who are there are only the representatives of hundreds of thousands or millions of Albanians, whom you couldn't make a "new" model that would endlessly fit your corrupt rotating caste even after 35 years. Even those about 40 people who hold meetings every day at 11:00 and call themselves the "protest" or the leadership of the protest should understand this quickly. As the initiators of the citizens' call for the barbaric violence in Zvërnec, they have merit.

For the management of megaphones and microphones, for maintaining the protest outside the parties and at the civic level so far, they have merit and the protest loves them for these. I also know that they were set out for something else and suddenly the biggest thing since the rise of students for democracy came to them, taking them by surprise. But now what is happening is a reality that there is no going back, even if this protest splits or closes suddenly. It returns again, at any time with just a "whistle".

This protest has thousands of valences within itself, as many as the injustices that the 35-year-old corrupt political caste has done to Albanians. But the vector of all of them is only one: The collapse of this political-economic-media caste that, as the protest itself has labeled and identified, has Rama and Berisha as its public and political representatives. How will it happen?

First/ The non-negotiable departure of the Rama government. Don't listen to the sirens for early elections, because they only aim to recycle them.

Second/ The creation of a non-partisan technical government with an indefinite term to carry out its duties, with the blessing and protection of the Protest and the Internationals. This government, in addition to the normal tasks of the functioning of the state, should focus on several major emergency priorities. Amendments to the Constitution and laws in function of major electoral and territorial reforms. A new electoral law that will free the vote and put all political factors in equal competitive positions.

Return of referendums and election of the president by the people. Strict law on parties and their financing. This technical government closes negotiations with the EU and unconditionally supports SPAK and GJKKO for the investigation, trial and return of assets of the corrupt political caste and those linked to organized crime.

This should be the order of things, I think modestly. And finally, regarding the dilemma that Rama and Berisha, who control the current parliament (where the technical government has the only way to be mandated), will never accept these demands, the answer is simple: Let them stay where they are and as they are. The protest that is only growing in the squares of Albania and the world, will always be here and ready...

But I think that now they have given up, despite acting strong and hoping with intrigue that they will put an end to this too. Just like 36 years ago. The MPs of the Labor Party seemed brave and invincible in the 90s, but when they saw the determination of the people on the side of the students in the squares, they voted for Pluralism and Democracy, like a Chechen!

Happening now...
