Spain needs Real, aims for 5 Champions League places

If Real Madrid manages to advance, Germany would be left without a representative in the most important European competition, while Spain would secure at least two teams in the semi-finals, also taking into account the clash between Barcelona and Atlético Madrid.

In the current UEFA coefficient rankings, England leads with 24,791 points, followed by Spain with 20,281 points and Germany with 19,428 points. Portugal and Italy are next with 18,900 and 18,714 points respectively.

Bayern Munich's performance in the remainder of the European season will be crucial in determining whether the Bundesliga can compete for the top two spots in this ranking, which provide an additional team in the Champions League.
