Hormuz opens/ Trump suspends bombing of Iran for 2 weeks, Tehran agrees

Iran's Supreme National Security Council has confirmed the agreement for a two-week ceasefire, negotiated with the mediation of Pakistan.

In a statement published by the Mehr agency, it is said that the agreement was reached with the approval of Iran's new supreme leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

According to the statement, the agreement is considered a "victory for Iran," while it is announced that negotiations for a permanent agreement will take place in Islamabad.

These negotiations will begin in Islamabad with complete distrust of the American side, and Iran will set a two-week period for their development. This period can be extended by agreement of the parties.

It is imperative that during this period, full national unity be maintained and victory celebrations continue with vigor.

The current negotiations are national negotiations and a continuation of developments on the ground; it is necessary for the entire people, elites and political groups to trust and support this process, which is taking place under the supervision of the revolutionary leadership and the highest levels of the system, rigorously avoiding any divisive statements.

If the surrender of the enemy on the ground turns into a decisive political achievement in negotiations, we will celebrate this great historical victory together; otherwise, we will fight side by side on the ground until all the demands of the Iranian nation are met.

Our hands are on the trigger, and at the slightest moment of error on the part of the enemy, we will respond with full force.
