The new FIFA ranking reveals the position of the Albanian national team in Europe

With the conclusion of the European football tournament in Germany and the America's Cup, where Spain and Argentina triumphed by lifting the respective trophies, FIFA has also published the new ranking of the national teams.
The albiceleste, reigning world champions, after defending the crown in America with a 1-0 victory in the final against Colombia, have consolidated their position at the top of the FIFA rankings.
But there have been significant changes in the top ten. Spain has the biggest increase among the big ones, with "La Roja" climbing 5 places and now ranking third, after France.
England, as a European finalist, ranks fourth ahead of Brazil, after the Seleção failed in the America's Cup, being eliminated in the quarter-finals by Uruguay.
Belgium has dropped three positions and is now outside the top five. After the "Red Devils" in 7th place comes the Netherlands, which does not change its position, while Portugal loses two places, ranking eighth.
Colombia, after reaching the final of the America's Cup, "flew" three places in the FIFA ranking, catapulting to ninth place, while Italy closes the top ten.
In the top 50 national teams, two teams have had a spectacular climb. Turkey, which reached the quarter-final stage of the European Championship, is now ranked 26th, gaining 16 places, while Venezuela is catapulted to 37th, climbing 17 places.
So, Albania, even though it played three positive matches against powers like Spain and Italy and achieved a historic draw with Croatia, has not changed a single place in the ranking. The Reds remain 66th in the ranking, while Kosovo has lost one place, ranking 106th.
