The Skenderbeu-Tirana friendly turns into a battleground in Korça

In yesterday's friendly in Korçë, Skënderbeu-Tirana 2-2, the spirit of tension on the field began to be felt at the end of the first half, where Mici and Bismark at certain moments exchanged jokes and provocations with each other.

In the second half, everything became more aggressive. This, since Rabiu also became part of the clashes, exchanging harsh interventions with Mic. In the 73rd minute of the meeting, the spark that ignited everything would come. A harsh intervention in the midfield brought a confrontation between the two footballers in question that followed for several moments. The insults between Mici and Rabi became so strong that the main referee was forced to take them out of the field with a red card. After this moment everything escalated.

At the time when Rabiu was heading to the tunnel to go to the dressing room, a member of the technical staff of Tirana approached him, asking him to account for his behavior on the field. The insults reached untold proportions, so much so that both benches were involved in the massive brawl. The debates and almost physical confrontations continued for about three minutes, bringing reaction from the fans who were in the central stand, as well as some others from the opposite stand who dared to go down to the field.

Thanks to the timely intervention of the respective coaches and the technical staff of Skanderbeg, the situation was normalized, as Gentian Liçi was the one who took Mic with him to calm him down, so that he would not aggravate the situation any more. Given the fact that Liçi was the deputy coach at Skënderbeu at the time when Mici was playing for the red and white, everything found the right way to calm the situation.
This is not an elegant event for a friendly meeting, which seems to bring back to memory once again the rivalry between these two teams not only among the fans, but now also on the field, recalling events not worthy of football that happened many years ago in a Cup final played in Korça.
