AMAZING/ President Duka himself reveals for Maran, record salary for Albania's new coach

The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, has revealed more about coach Rolando Maran. The number 1 of the FSHF confirmed financial details for the new coach of Albania.

Duka tells "Ndrieshe" in "TAR" that Maran has the same salary as Silvinjo, even with a percentage more. So it seems that the national team now has the highest paid coach in history, contrary to what was previously said. We recall that Silvinjo was the highest paid after the renewal with the objective of the 2026 World Cup. However, it is less than 1 million euros for the coach, not including the staff.

"I have heard all kinds of abuses these days. 'The federation took this, it didn't lower the level, it didn't increase the budget'. I have never preferred to talk about financial relations with coaches or staff. Maran's salary is the same as Silvinjo's, maybe a percentage more", said President Duka initially. We recall that until now it was said that Maran benefited up to 30 thousand euros per month. A figure that is considered low.

How much is the salary?  "There are abuses: 'Silvinjo used to get a salary of 1 million - 2 million. This one gets this much'. They are at the same levels, Silvinjo has never gotten 1 million either."

Below 1 million euros?  "Yes, definitely."
