A serious incident has shocked the showbiz world, as "The Hunger Games" actor Ethan Jamieson has been arrested in Raleigh on suspicion of a shooting.
According to court documents, Jamieson was arrested on April 8 for an incident that occurred on the evening of March 22. Police received a report of shots fired at around 9:52 p.m. and, upon arriving at the scene, found a person reporting that an unknown individual on an electric bicycle had fired shots at their moving vehicle.
There were two other people in the vehicle, and fortunately no casualties were reported. During the investigation, authorities identified Jamieson as the suspected perpetrator of the shooting, endangering the lives of three people.
He is charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to murder. A 9mm semi-automatic pistol was reportedly used in the incident.
A day after his arrest, on April 9, the court rejected his request for conditional release, while the next hearing is scheduled for April 30, where the continuation of the court process is expected to be considered.
This is not the first time the actor has faced justice. In March 2025, he was arrested in Raleigh for resisting a police officer, and was found guilty of this offense on March 26, 2026, just days before the latest incident.
The event has caused numerous reactions, while it remains to be seen how the matter will develop further and what consequences it will have for his career.
