Trafficked 7.5 tons of cocaine/ 3 arrested members of the "Pepa" group appear before the Criminal Court today

Three people arrested as part of the "Pepa" criminal group have appeared before the Special Court for trafficking approximately 7.5 tons of cocaine.

The hearing is being conducted under the direction of Judge Alma Kodraliu, who previously signed the security measures in the consultation room for the suspects.

In parallel with the arrests, the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has undertaken the seizure of assets related to Jetmir Pepa, who is wanted as the leader of the group.

It is about millions of euros of assets, including the company "Pepa Group", a hydroelectric power plant, hotels, apartments and land.

The group was hit in an operation conducted on Wednesday, where a total of 11 arrest warrants were signed.

So far, there has been no official reaction from SPAK for further details, while investigations continue to fully uncover the group's activities and its connections.
