North Macedonia bids farewell to renowned singer Shpat Kasapi today

The famous singer from North Macedonia, Shpat Kasapi, who passed away on November 26, 2025, will be accompanied to his final resting place today.

The sad news has been confirmed by his family, who have sadly shared the details of the funeral ceremony. Tributes for the artist will take place today, starting at 12:00, at the Palace of Culture in Tetovo, while the funeral ceremony will be held at 14:00 at the city cemetery.

"It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend. Shpati was a pure heart, a joyful soul who lived with songs on his lips and light in his eyes. He spread only love and kindness, and everyone who knew him felt his warmth. His sudden departure has broken our hearts. We will miss his gentle voice, sincere smile and calming presence. His memory will remain unforgettable for us," the family statement reads.

The family has invited all those who wish to honor Shpati's memory and say their final farewell to the beloved artist to attend the funeral ceremony.
