Kanye West accused Kim Kardashian of staging the Paris robbery: It was a stab in the heart

American reality star Kim Kardashian faced the trauma of 2016 again, revealing in the latest episode of the series "The Kardashians" that her ex-husband, Kanye West, accused her of fabricating the entire robbery incident.

Kim described moments when she felt distrust from someone very close to her. "My ex-husband said, 'You faked a robbery for a TV show,' in front of everyone. It was like a knife in the heart. Just the thought that someone so close to you wouldn't trust you, someone who should know you and know how much this has affected your life, really bothered me. You don't know who I am," she said through tears.

The robbery took place in October 2016 in Paris, when Kim and Kanye were married. Although the rapper was not present at the event, he received the news during a performance in New York, temporarily interrupting the concert due to a "family emergency." Shortly after Kim returned to the United States, Kanye tried to offer his support. During the robbery, Kim was tied up and over $10 million worth of jewelry was stolen.

Almost a decade later, Kardashian had the chance to face her attackers in court. “I was finally able to go to court, face these people and hear their testimonies and their apologies. I wanted to say, look, people, it was real. I’m glad it’s over,” she added through tears. The Paris court convicted most of the defendants in the robbery. Eight people were found guilty of stealing the jewelry, while two others were acquitted. One of the defendants was acquitted in full, while the other was convicted of using a weapon, which is not directly related to the attack on Kardashian.
